Beneath the crystal-clear waters of Indonesia lies a world unlike any other on Earth. We are taking you to Abang Island, The big Abang island and the small Abang Island.
As you gently float above the reef, you are not just snorkeling, you are exploring the global heart of marine biodiversity. Indonesia is located within the Coral Triangle, a remarkable region that contains more than 600 species of reef-building corals, representing around 75% of all known coral species on the planet. No other place in the world comes close to this level of diversity.
To put this into perspective, scientists have identified approximately 6,000 coral species worldwide. Of these, only around 850–900 are reef-building hard corals, belonging to approximately 40–50 coral families. Astonishingly, Indonesia hosts the greatest concentration of this coral diversity anywhere on Earth.
This extraordinary biodiversity is why destinations such as Raja Ampat, Wakatobi, and Bunaken are celebrated as some of the richest coral ecosystems on the planet. Here, every glance beneath the water reveals something new a delicate branching coral, a massive ancient coral colony, or a school of colorful fish dancing among the reef.

If you are lucky, you may spot a curious clownfish peeking from its anemone home. These iconic fish live in a unique partnership with sea anemones, finding shelter among their tentacles while helping keep their hosts clean and healthy. Their bright colors and playful behavior make every encounter memorable.
You may also notice sea urchins nestled among the corals. While often overlooked, these fascinating creatures play a vital role in maintaining reef health by feeding on algae that can otherwise overwhelm and damage corals. Their presence is a sign of a balanced and thriving ecosystem.
Immerse yourself in a world where every reef tells a story, every fish adds a splash of color, and every moment reveals a new wonder. Experience the ocean where three-quarters of the world’s coral species thrive. Experience Indonesia.
