Listen to this Gamelan music

Make your event truly memorable with an authentic Indonesian traditional dance performance. Our professional dancers bring elegance, culture, and hospitality to conferences, gala dinners, corporate events, exhibitions, weddings, and official ceremonies.
One of our signature performances is the Sekapur Sirih Dance, a traditional Malay welcoming dance originating from the Riau Archipelago, including Batam and the Riau Islands.
Why is the Sekapur Sirih Dance Unique?
The Sekapur Sirih Dance is performed to warmly welcome distinguished guests as a symbol of respect, friendship, and sincere hospitality. During the performance, dancers gracefully present a tray of betel leaves (sirih), an important element of Malay tradition that represents honor and goodwill.
The Philosophy Behind the Dance
The dance embodies the core values of respect, gratitude, unity, and harmony. Every elegant movement reflects the Malay belief in welcoming guests with an open heart and treating them with dignity. Offering betel leaves symbolizes a genuine invitation to build friendship, strengthen relationships, and create mutual respect between host and guest.
The Story of Kuda Lumping
Originating from Java Island, Indonesia, Kuda Lumping (also known as Jaran Kepang) is one of the country’s most iconic traditional performances. The dance portrays the bravery and discipline of Javanese horsemen who protected their kingdoms and communities. Using beautifully crafted woven bamboo horses, the performers recreate the spirit of warriors through energetic movements accompanied by the powerful rhythms of traditional gamelan music.
